A turkey hunt is great regardless of the weather. Spring often brings snow, sleet, rain and wind, but when given the chance to get out, we have to jump on it. At times we team up to try to harvest a bird, other times we are on our own, one-on-one against the bird. If all goes well, you will have a great day in the woods, maybe work a bird even sees a bird. Hopefully at the end of the day, you will have some cleaning to do and end up with a turkey in the freezer to enjoy.

Wild turkey is a real treat with a fantastic taste. There are a number of great ways to cook, from roasted to filleted and fried in breading, to the most famous deep-fried. Each year Cam and friends get together for a deep-fried turkey dinner.
